Eyebrow Routine

I thought I would write a blog on my eyebrow routine with detail into how I get them to look like they do when a full face of makeup is applied- obviously not everyone will like my eyebrows but if you do then i hope this helps! :)

When I am giving my face a break and a cleanse on some days, I literally after cleansing I just brush them through with my eyebrow brush and leave them like that. I have my eyebrows tinted quite dark so the hairs are obvious even without the eyebrow products on. Even if your eyebrows are pretty much none existent like mine used to be before I became obsessed with the 'bushy eyebrow' look then this routine will still be fine for you because the product I use is great to apply to skin also(my sister has it & she has no eyebrows really!!)

End 1: to outline the shape of your eyebrow and for the brush strokes in the eyebrow
End 2: this is to brush all hairs in the right direction making it easier to apply the eyebrow product & this gives your eyebrow a more natural look.

Product Detail

  • Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade - Shade: Chocolate
  • Anastasia Eyebrow brush - Number: 12

I apply my face makeup (concealer around my eyebrows to define the shape) then I start with my eyebrows.
I use the definition end of my eyebrow brush, drawing out the shape of my eyebrows. A line at the bottom and top and the shape towards the end of my brow showing the arch. Use End 2, brushing over the hairs and shading out a little bit of the outline so it's not a thick outline.
Using End 1, I start to brush stroke onto the hairs upwards at the start of the eyebrow with only a little bit of product on the brush as I like my eyebrows to look faded at the beginning, then I start to turn the brush a little working towards the arch of the eyebrow with more product on the brush this time and then brush down at the end of the brow.
Then I just go over any areas which I think needs more colour on and just touch up any areas I may have missed a little.
End 2- I brush over all my hairs again going in the direction of my eyebrow, this is what gives them a more natural look instead of just 'block waxxy' eyebrows, then at the beginning of the brow I brush quite a bit just to shade out the colour.
Eyebrows are done!
Then I just complete the look with concealer around the brow which I applied before I started my brows, just blend that in and then the eyebrow shape will be defined and look LUSH!

My eyebrows aren't for everyone but they work for me :)

BUSHY eyebrows are the one girls...... and guys if you like!
